From his workshop in Brussels, Pierre Marcolini himself oversees the development of each new truffle, chocolate bar, tablet, or spread, blendin modern, inventive flavours with tried-and-tested techniques passed down through the generations. The result is just what you're looking for: rich, sumptuous Belgian pralines, truffles, bonbons and bars, with dark, milk and white chocolate tempered to perfection.
 

The journey from bean to bar

At Maison Pierre Marcolini, we start with the finest ingredients for our creations. We choose the best cocoa beans from different regions of the world: the Latin American landscapes of Venezuela and Peru, tropical African islands like Madagascar and Sao Tomé, and exotic Asian destinations such as India, Indonesia and China. These sunkissed locations have the ideal growing conditions for cocoa bean, and each has its own unique regional flavour. Just like a master sommelier knows the differences between grapes from around the world, Pierre Marcolini and his team understand that each variety of cocoa bean has its own magic.

Back in Belgium, the team carefully roasts the beans themselves in the workshop. This key step is what sets our luxury chocolates apart. While most chocolatiers outsource the roasting process, the Maison Pierre Marcolini team has complete control over every step of the journey. Working with a delicate touch, the roasting process brings out those unique, rich flavours in each bean, filling the chocolate with smoky, tangy or floral notes.

In the workshop, the team develop new, exciting flavour combinations, mixing exotic citrus fruits with traditional nutty pralines or enticing fragrances. Each product is painstakingly crafted. Recipes are refined over time to give you the perfect chocolate experience, no matter what you're looking for. Chocolate boxes, praline chocolates, chocolate truffles, chocolate bars, chocolate tablets, spreads and jams, and even drinks are lovingly made to the finest recipes.

As the winter nights draw in, snuggle up under a blanket with our boxes of candied chestnuts, or count down the nights until Christmas with our sophisticated take on a classic advent calendar. At Easter time, celebrate the arrival of spring with a colourful box of chocolates filled with joy.
